
Noman Robin is a Bangladeshi filmmaker known for spotlighting social issues. His debut film Common Gender (2012) broke ground by portraying hijra lives. His documentary Blossoms from Ash (2019) on the Rohingya crisis won a Special Jury Remi Award. In 2024, he debuted in the U.S. with Mighty Eighty and served as a programmer at the International Film Festival Manhattan.
